Walter Sofronoff KC is an Australian jurist and lawyer who served as the President of the Queensland Court of Appeal (2017–2022) and as the Solicitor-General of Queensland (2005 – 2014). Mr Sofronoff was called to the Bar in 1977, took silk in 1988 and served as President of the Bar Association of Queensland (1994 – 1996). He has conducted and also participated in public inquiries and has conducted government reviews He is an accredited mediator and graded arbitrator.
