On Friday, 18 February 2022, CIArb Australia welcomed candidates to the first of its training courses for 2022. Candidates joined the day-long tutorial from across Australia on zoom.
During the live interactive sessions, candidates were tutored by experienced arbitration practitioners on fundamental aspects of international arbitration ranging from Essential Features of International Arbitration, Laws and Rules of Arbitration, Powers and Jurisdiction of the Arbitral Tribunal, the Organisation of Arbitration Proceedings, Interest and Costs and the Award and Enforcement of the Award.
The course is a thorough yet approachable way for candidates to gain an understanding of the key aspects of arbitration. Candidates are assisted in their learning by a detailed course workbook, reading materials and tutor power point slides. CIArb Australia thanks all candidates for their participation and congratulates them on their completion of the course.
