Maintaining our leadership as a contributor to global arbitration scholarship, we are pleased to once again host the CIArb Australia Annual Lecture. This year’s annual lecture will be held virtually on 19 October 2021 between 5pm – 6pm AEDT.
This lecture is a must-attend event of the Australian Arbitration Week. Our speaker is the eminent NSW leading counsel, Mr Bret Walker AO SC who will speak on the topic, “Privacy or Secrecy? Open Justice Values as a Challenge to Arbitral Procedure”.The lecture will focus on the various implications of two of the cardinal features of arbitration that are often referred to as unequivocal virtues: namely privacy and expedition.
Cost: Access to this event is free for CIArb members and non-members, however, pre-registration is required.
