As we approach the end of the year, it’s a valuable time to reflect on our collective achievements.

This year has witnessed a considerable increase in branch activity, both in terms of courses and networking events, particularly as we celebrated our 30th Anniversary.

All events and activity from this year will be highlighted in the upcoming edition of The Ciarb Australia News 2025.

Recently, I had the honour of representing our branch at the Alexander Lecture held during the inaugural London Arbitration Week, presented by the Global President, Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab C.Arb FCIArb. The lecture can be viewed here.

Additionally, I was privileged to meet many esteemed arbitrators from Ciarb’s global network, including the 2026 Global President, Cesar Pereira C.Arb FCIArb, from the Brazil branch.

Cesar’s election marks a significant moment as he is the first President from Latin America.
